As part of the celebrations of its 50th anniversary, Grupo Alves Bandeira is proud to announce the realization of the solidarity show "Insónia," starring the renowned television presenter Fernando Mendes. All proceeds from this event will be entirely donated to the Humanitarian Association of the Figueira da Foz Volunteer Firefighters.

As the patron of this initiative, Grupo Alves Bandeira once again reaffirms its commitment to the community and its active and close social responsibility policy, where the Firefighters have always been and will continue to be a priority.

The theater play will be staged on October 24 at 9:30 PM at CAE - Centro de Artes e Espetáculos, a space managed and provided free of charge by the Municipality of Figueira da Foz.

With a capacity of over 800 seats, tickets are priced at a symbolic 10€ per person and can be purchased through Ticketline (see here) or directly at the CAE box office.

The realization of this fantastic show, which has sold out several venues from north to south of the country, aims to raise funds for the acquisition of a new Rescue Ambulance, worth 77,000 euros, which will enhance and improve the response capacity of the Figueira da Foz Volunteer Firefighters for the entire community.

At the end of the press conference held at the Volunteer Firefighters' headquarters, Rui Bandeira, President of the Portuguese economic group, left a message and a call to society: "We appeal to everyone's generosity to attend and support this solidarity initiative, helping our firefighters to continue providing an essential service to the community, especially when we are often talking about saving lives. A big thank you to all the volunteer firefighters and their management for giving their time for each one of us.”
